Syneco at the ManureSource conference May 2022 in Hertogenbosch

SYNECO poster exhibited at the ManuREsource Conference May 2022 in Hertogenbosch (The Netherlands), gathering experts in livestock manure from EU and beyond. The poster is telling about the specific challenges in Malta, and how the SYNECO project will tackle these.

Cooperation between farmers for circularity in agriculture.

Malta is designated as a Nitrates Vulnerable Zone, having a high nitrate level in ground and surface waters, and a high livestock density. On the other hand, Malta has a substantial net food import to supplement its own food production. Malta is the EU Member State with the highest population density, so the pressures on the land for farming are very significant.

Syneco participates at the Malta Agri Fair 2022

Syneco participated in the Malta Agri Fair 2022. Crop Fertiliser Expert, Henning Lyngsø Foged held sessions explaining the CropManager Software throughout the fair.

Farmers showed interest in #CropManager and possibilities for using the nutrient tool to fertilise correct with manure-based fertilisers and reduce costs for mineral fertilisers.
